Alicia Byrd

Licensed for 16 years now, Alicia started her Real Estate Career at Remax Preferred, in Atlanta, Ga. Eight years ago she moved to Florida and furthered her career working in resort sales at Destin West Beach and Bay Resort. Once Destin West was complete, she transferred to Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort, where Alicia gained a wealth of knowledge in the area and and the lifestyle. Maureen Meehan

Marketing Coordinator

Born and raised on Florida’s First Coast in St. Augustine, Maureen Meehan moved to Destin’s Emerald Coast in April, 2010.   Maureen received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications with an emphasis in Broadcasting from Flagler College in St. Augustine after completing her internship at the Cannes Film Festival in France in the Spring of 2006. Always interested in marketing and branding, Maureen’s previous experience includes working as a marketing director for The Marketing Tree, Inc; art sales and marketing with Cutter and Cutter Fine Art; and student recruitment and marketing for the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences.

As a new resident of the area, Maureen desires to serve her new community and has been active in the Destin Area Chamber of Commerce and recently joined the Junior League of the Emerald Coast as a provisional member of the Spring class.  Maureen attends Destin United Methodist Church and enjoys water sports, fishing and following the football teams of both Florida State and Auburn.

Desiree Adams joined the At The Beach Team in September 2010 as the Administrative Assistant and Closing Coordinator.   Desiree manages the office, all paperwork, listing packets, and coordinates closings for At The Beach Team.  Being from a military family, Desiree had the great opportunity to visit and live in a variety of exciting and exotic places.  Settling down in the local area in 1994, Desiree spends her free time cooking, reading, and spending time outdoors with her husband and 5 beautiful children.
